The Club was delighted to make a presentation to Mary Cunningham ahead of her retirement as principle of Ballyvary National School after 43 years of loyal service to the school and community.
Chairperson, Bernard Joyce thanked Mary, on behalf of the Committee, Parents, Coaches and Players, for her support and friendship for the club which started many years before the club even founded, when Mary and her colleagues in Ballyvary/Keelogues Development Company set about realising the vision for the wonderful playing facilities that we enjoy today, ensuring that local children have access to both the best education and the finest sports facilities in the County.
Mary thanked everyone for the presentation and spoke of her love for the school and the community and remembered in a special way, the late Andy Walsh who founded the club.
