Notice of 2024 AGM

Notice is hereby given that Ballyvary Hurling Club

will hold its Annual General Meeting

on Sunday 17th November 2024 at 6:00pm

at Ballyvary National School Hall

The Club invites nominations for election to the executive committee for the coming year. Completed nomination forms must be returned to the club secretary on or before Sunday 3rd November 2024. Motions for consideration at the Annual General meeting must also be submitted to the Club Secretary (secretary.ballyvaryhurling.mayo@gaa.ie) on or before Sunday 3rd November 2024.

2024 was another successful year for Ballyvary Hurling Club. We are grateful to all our volunteers, parents, sponsors, officials, supporters and players.  Win, lose or draw, we always had plenty of support on the side-line.

In 2025, the club will celebrate its 20th Anniversary. We are pleased to see that some of those founding members are still with us, and some of those youngsters who first togged out with us back in 2005 have returned and continue to tog out on our senior team. Equally, we are grateful to see new faces, on and off the field.

In 2025, we will be taking some time to celebrate this milestone and while allowing ourselves to be nostalgic, we will continue to chart a course for the next 20 years and beyond, We will shortly be launching our 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, and and as we celebrate our milestones achieved so far, it is time to set new milestones and to this end we will need everybody on board so we are asking everybody involved in the club to get involved, as coaches, assisting coaches, as club officers, or in one of our working groups.
