Tuesday the 25th of June sees Ballyvary Hurling Club launch it’s new sustainability project – Ballyvary Hurling Club says “No” to Single Use Plastics.

The project is funded by the Local Agenda 21 initiative funding through Mayo County Council.  Each Club member will receive a multi-use bottle.  Boot bags to promote the policy will also be distributed.

The Ballyvary Hurling Club is delighted to be one of the first GAA Clubs in Mayo to adopt a policy of avoiding the use of single use plastics.  It is hoped that this policy will be considered in other Clubs and throughout the community.

The launch will be held after the Club’s weekly training session on Tuesday 25th July at 7:30 pm.
